Q. Do you offer returns and or refunds?
A. In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@jacksonopals.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition.
We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
We do not offer returns on change of mind.
If a refund is issued, it will be sent via the same payment method excluding shipping costs. If original payment was made via PayPal, the refund will be less the PayPal transaction fee. (Example $100 payment made- $97.10 refund after fees)
Q. Do you offer Payment Plans
A. Yes, we offer traditional lay-by arrangements with a 20% deposit required to secure your chosen opal.
We also offer scheduled payment plans via PayPal. This can be set up weekly or fortnightly, please email us to arrange.
Q. Do you ship internationally?
A. Yes, but we unfortunately do not cover 100% of the globe. But we are improving thing all the time.

Q. Do you offer free shipping?
A. Yes, to all domestic and international orders over $400
Q. Do you edit your photos?
A. No, the editing process of our images only involves cropping and occasionally adjusting the lighting.
Q. How are your doublets Set?
A. We only use Obsidian to back our doublets. Obsidian is a naturally occurring silica, like opal, so is the best solution for longevity of the stone. All our obsidian is sourced from the very best in USA.
Q. Where are your opals sourced?
A. All our stones have been collected over a long period by Stuart Jackson from his time living in Coober Pedy, SA. All our stones are ethically sourced and cut and polished by Stuart himself.
We also mine ourselves in Coober Pedy.
Q. Do you offer videos?
A. Yes, please feel free to email Sales@jacksonopal.com for any further imagery or video footage, we understand more detail or confirmation at time may be required.
Q. Can you provide a certificate of authenticity?
A. We are happy to provide a certificate of authenticity, but note, we are not able to provided insurance valuation. This must be provided by a qualified Gemologist.
